One-off resets, room by room

Deep cleaning services in Cyprus

A deep clean covers what weekly visits skip: grease inside the oven and extractor, limescale on shower glass, dust behind the sofa and along the tops of door frames. Find independent cleaners in Limassol, Nicosia, Larnaca, and Paphos who list deep cleaning as a specialty, then agree the checklist and a flat quote directly with them.

  • Kitchen grease, bathroom limescale, and the dust behind furniture are cleared in one visit, so weekly cleaning is quicker afterwards.
  • You agree a room-by-room checklist and a flat price with the cleaner before the day, and can strike out anything you do not need.
  • Profiles show Deep clean as a specialty alongside hourly rate, languages, transport, and availability, so you can shortlist before messaging anyone.

How it works

Plan your ideal visit

Each section on the right is a “slide” you can skim. Scroll the column to move through scope, fit, and extras without losing your place.

1/4Scope

What a deep clean covers, room by room

Use this as a starting list and remove what you do not need. Cleaners price from the list, so a clear one gets you an accurate quote.

  • Kitchen: oven interior, racks, and door glass, hob and extractor hood degreased with the filters soaked, fridge emptied and washed inside, and every cupboard and drawer wiped inside and out.
  • Bathrooms: limescale removed from taps, shower heads, and shower glass, grout scrubbed, the toilet cleaned down to its base and behind the cistern, and the fan cover and cabinet interiors wiped.
  • Every room: skirting boards, doors and frames, light switches and sockets, window interiors with their tracks and sills, and the floor under and behind furniture that can be moved safely.
  • Air conditioning: split unit filters taken out and rinsed, front panels and vents wiped. Coil cleaning, drain lines, and gas checks are work for an AC technician.
2/4Time

How long a deep clean takes

Time depends on the size of the home, how long since its last thorough clean, and how full the cupboards are. These are rough figures for one experienced cleaner.

  • Studio or one-bedroom apartment: around four to six hours, with the oven and the bathroom taking the biggest share of the time.
  • Two or three-bedroom apartment: usually six to nine hours. Some cleaners work in pairs so a job this size finishes in a single day.
  • Three or four-bedroom house or villa with verandas: often 10 to 16 hours of work, shared between two cleaners or split over two days.
  • Add time for a heavily greased oven, a smoker's home, a lot of pet hair, or a property left closed long enough for mould to appear on the walls.
3/4Timing

When a Cyprus home needs one

Once or twice a year suits most homes. The climate and the calendar decide the best moments.

  • Spring, after winter damp: mould spots on bathroom ceilings, musty wardrobes, and condensation marks along aluminium window frames get cleaned off before summer.
  • After a dust episode: fine desert dust gets past closed windows and settles on sills, tracks, verandas, and AC vents. Damp wiping lifts it; dry dusting just moves it around.
  • Before and after summer guests: one clean before family arrives in June, another in September once the house has had three months of sand, sun cream, and a full fridge.
  • Moving home: an empty property is the easiest time to reach inside every cupboard and behind the appliances. End of tenancy cleaning follows its own checklist.
4/4Prep

What to prepare before the cleaner arrives

Half an hour of preparation saves paid time and avoids questions on the day.

  • Clear worktops, bathroom shelves, and wardrobe floors so surfaces can be reached. A cleaner will work around clutter, but you pay for the time spent moving it.
  • Empty the fridge the night before and box up the contents of any cupboards you want cleaned inside, or agree that the cleaner empties and refills them.
  • Point out natural stone. Marble, limestone, and terrazzo etch when acidic limescale removers touch them, so agree which products go on which surfaces.
  • Switch on the immersion heater if the solar tank runs cool in winter, and say where the cleaner can park, since many apartment blocks restrict visitor spaces.

Frequently asked questions

How long does a deep clean take?

For one cleaner, a one-bedroom apartment usually takes four to six hours and a three-bedroom apartment six to nine. Houses and villas with verandas can need 10 hours of work or more, so cleaners often come as a pair or split the job over two days. Heavy oven grease, pets, and mould on walls all add time, so send a few photos when you ask for a quote.

How much does a deep clean cost in Limassol?

Deep cleans are usually agreed as a flat quote rather than by the hour. On the marketplace, one-off deep cleans start from around €120 for a small apartment and seasonal house deep cleans from about €140. Limassol villas with several bathrooms and large verandas are quoted higher. Before you agree, ask what the price includes: products, the oven, cupboard interiors, and windows.

What is the difference between a deep clean and a regular clean?

A regular clean keeps visible surfaces under control: worktops, floors, bathrooms, and dusting. A deep clean goes inside and behind things, covering oven and fridge interiors, cupboard insides, grout, built-up limescale, skirting, door frames, window tracks, and the floor under the sofa. Once the build-up is gone, weekly visits take less time and the home stays cleaner between them.

Do deep cleaners bring their own products and equipment?

Many do for deep cleans, because the job needs degreaser, limescale remover, a strong vacuum, and sometimes a steam cleaner or step ladder. Confirm this in your first message, and mention allergies or a preference for fragrance-free products. If you supply the products yourself, check they are safe for marble and terrazzo floors, which are common in Cyprus homes.

Do I need to be at home during a deep clean?

Not for the whole day. Most clients are there at the start to walk through the checklist, show which surfaces are marble or wood, and hand over keys, then come back near the end to check the work together. If you are abroad or at work, agree that the cleaner sends photos of each room before you pay.
